How do I submit a character?

Just show up and costume it. There are no character submissions!

How is combat handled in the game? Turn-based? Theatrical? Full-contact boffer? I figure better to ask before I haul out the ladder and bring down the 5-foot buster sword. Or the tommy-gun.

The game is boffer weapons with moderate contact (As in don't swing as hard as you can, but we aren't light-as-touch).

Long Range Combat?

Boffer-safe bows and arrows (less than 35lb pull and please keep in mind that you will often be in-doors for some of these portals), and nerf guns are acceptable if properly painted.

What About Armor?

Armor is judged at game for how many calls it gives you, but in general, you can almost always haggle your armor 'down' to light, you just might have a harder time haggling it 'up' to heavy.

Game fee? Bar fee? Need us to plan on bringing some bottles to help stock?

There is a $20 donation suggested for stocking the bar and helping the props get replaced/adjusted, and otherwise a rather pot-luck type feel. There is a Bounty for being the Organization Master and taking task on this.

Is there a need/want table or list hiding out somewhere for players who need gear or makeup? (I have loads of extra leathery gear I may be willing to loan in some cases, but my own makeup supply has been rather badly ravaged by my kids)
