What is the Worldgate Festival?

Worldgate Festival is an appreciation event for the Middlegrounds Larp Site community. Specifically dedicated to the players and staff who have stuck with us as we've continued to work to get the site opened, we wanted to take an opportunity to say a special thank you and hold an event to celebrate all these games and our growing community

Worldgate Festival is a tongue and cheek weekend event of games, light combat, and mods without much of a story in which players are invited to bring their characters from their various home games or create new characters to play, and come together in a free form, unstructured one day event.

For games who are interested in participating, our coordinators will reach out to you to figure out how best to message to your players, and as this will be a private event, work with you to understand how many individuals you plan on having attend as well as some logistics (Parking/carpooling/etc).

The Worldgate Festival will be held June 4th, 2022. Proof of Vaccine Status and a negative Covid test will be required to attend, and we will be doing temperature checks at event check-in.
